Last day at Ernst & Young

On May 7th 2007 I joined Ernst & Young. At that time it was the 3rd in Big Four accounting and consulting firms list according to Wikipedia. Working for a Big 4 company was a dream come true. I worked with the design team at EY as a web designer initially for almost a year and then moved to Account management team where I worked with clients across Middle East, Europe and UK offices.

Working for our Account Management team, I developed business for our major service lines – Business Process Services, Knowledge Process Services and IT services from Middle East, Europe and UK offices. Our service portfolio includes – Application development, Software and Web applications, financial & HR services and IT support.

It was a great experience working with so many teams and surrounded by people from various streams and also gained loads of knowledge by understanding things, learning things everyday and making the most of it from every moment spent at EY.

Today May 7th 2010, it’s my last day at Ernst & Young. As I leave the office, I would like to extend a thank you to the people I work with and have worked with during my three years at Ernst & Young. I am moving back to my home town – Cochin.

There are many organizations who have devoted their sole purpose in helping poor children, old people, orphans and people with diseases. Well helping all is not a bad idea but the income generated wouldn’t be sufficient enough even to cover 1 organization. So that’s why i have selected an organization named Snehalayam (a non-profit organization for children in Cochin/Kerala/India) to help them with their daily needs. Well, one of the most important reasons why i selected this organization was that i have supported them in past and i find it very useful in helping children than others. They are the future. So it’s very important that they have a good future,

There are many ways you can help

You can either choose to donate money using PayPal (We will convert your donation amount into ads impressions, contact us for more information) – Donate now
You can help us build our blogs, the income is generated purely through ads and sponsors – you can submit post to our blogs build user base
Get us sponsors who would advertise on our network – for more about advertising
We will be sending the income generated to Snehalayam on a quarterly basis. At the beginning of every quarter, we will be updating our stat sheet that would contain all data including income generated, funding provided.
